The strength of our research activities attracts considerable investment from both national funding agencies and local organisations. As a result, most of our postgraduate students are supported financially through one or more scholarships.

Up to 75 PhD scholarships are awarded each year to high-achieving students from Aotearoa and overseas.
Applications close 31 January, 31 May and 30 September, each year.
