Science Open Day

Science Open Day was initiated in 2011 and offers students and their parents the chance to explore the areas of science available to study at Waikato University. Students will take part in hands-on workshops and lab demonstrations.

Attendees will have the opportunity find out about the structure of the Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Science(Technology) degrees at Waikato, and the many majors and specialisations within these qualifications. Earth & Ocean Sciences, Chemistry, Physics and Biological Sciences will be covered. A visit to an on-campus Hall of Residence will also be included. Interested in engineering?
