Interested in Engineering? Spend the day on campus with staff and students and experience engineering through hands-on workshops. Discuss your study and career options one-on-one with our engineers. There are several engineering programmes offered at Waikato and you will experience each of these options. Interested in science? Science Open Day may be more suited to you needs.

Engineering Open Day is for students and their parents to discover what a career in engineering offers.You will learn the engineering programmes available at Waikato University, the subjects students have to do at high school to gain entry to Waikato engineering, as well as the careers opportunities available.

Visit the Halls of Residence accommodation available to students, get information on how to enrol and find out about the scholarships that are available. This full-day event is suitable for Year 11,12 and 13 secondary school students (parents welcome) as well as those considering a career change.
